APPROVED!!!!

I got online yesterday and was THE-MOST-EXCITED person in the world! I got this awesome message:

YEA-YUH!!! I am the most excited person ever!!! Tonight Boo & I get to pick up our sweet ride! I'll definetly post pics when we get it!!! AND... my insurance stayed exactly the same. I guess that's because in 40 days i'll be as my mom says "a quarter of a century" old! Well I'll take it!!!

What's in my bag?

I've seen a bunch of ladies do the purse post so I figured I'd join in! Plus, how much fun is it to be nosey rosey!

Here's my Mary Poppins bag! I seriously have everything in here! I'm OCD! If I'm missing anything, I will freak out!

1. A misc. bag full of hair products, lotions, and much more!

2. My make-up bag.

3. Where you find no dough! haha

4. Huge foldable mirror.

5. Leetle camera for those crazy moments!

6. My asthma has been crazy lately! This is my angel! My inhaler.

7. My notary seal.

8.Auto accident paperwork. I'm ready to be done with it so I don't have to carry these papers around anymore.

9. Three pack of gum. Every now and then I have to see a client at work and I'm sure they don't wanna be smellin' my taco bell after lunch raunchyness!

10. I know it's hard to see in the pic, but this is my favoritest medicine in the world! Vics vapor nose inhaler. I'm addicted.

11. Vicky Secret's plain jane lip gloss. Love it!

12. Last but not least...my most important key chain. It opens our mailbox, my storage drawers at work, safes at my house, and a few other things but I can't think of them right now.

1. Tampon case. Gotta be discreet!

2. Remember Mary Kay? Does anyone even sell that stuff anymore? Well I still use the satin lips first step stuff. It's like a lip exfoliator. It feels like sand on your lips but after about 2 minutes, you scrub it off, top with a little vaseline or lip balm of your choice and your lips feel like bliss!

3. Deodorant. You just never know, right?

4. Greatest invention of all time. Dry Shampoo. Get up late? No problem! Spray a little on your roots and just poof your hair up, you'll be good to go!

5. Lysol wipes and Germ-x.

6. Random, but eyelash curler.

7. Lip gloss of choice, Vaseline.

8. All my scripts and some advil liquid gels! They work the best for me!

9. Another small tube of vaseline. That stuff is a-maze-ing!

10. Oil dabber sheet thingamabobers.

11. Wisp. Like the gum, ya just never know who you may run into!

12. Clear eyes, dry eyes. Did y'all just think of that old nasely nerdo on the commercials? haha. Visine, cause my eyes have a tendency to get red in the evenings.

13. Some awesome scrub lotion from Cracker Barrell. I always forget about the little store when you first walk in the restaraunt. They have the neastest stuff!

This week...

I'm LOVING... my job. Of course it has its days but, I enjoy coming to work. Not many folks can say that.

I'm LOVING... speaking of my job... were filming a new commercial for the office this morning. However, it's only on the local channel.

I'm LOVING... by this weekend, I'll have another vehicle! Woo hoo!

I'm LOVING...  my boo's sense of humor. I seriously have never met anyone funnier than him! After we watched the help last night, he kept callin me "baby guh". I was crackin' up!

I'm LOVING... the countdown for my birthday is on! And there are currently 42 days until then! haha There would only be 41, but this is a leap year! I didn't even know that!

I'm LOVING... that Boo has a great opportunity today and I pray that it works out!!!

Projects

Before I get to my crafty post, I have to share with you our tornadic weather experience Sunday night. As you probably can tell, I am scared scared scared of bad weather. Even a little thunderstorm, I hate it! For some reason, I feel safer when I'm with a group of people. Not necessarily in the same room, just more than just Brandt and I in the same house. So, with that said, we trucked it over to his mama's house Sunday evening with air matress, 2 suitcases, & one bag for Boo's "toys"(things to keep him occupied... dvd player, psp, ipod, etc.) to get ready. Remember we were only going for one night!!!Wish I had gotten a pic of the car loaded down. Boo and I are just alike when it comes to packing... for one day we pack for a month! I felt a lot better being at his mom's. She is such a hoot! We always have fun conversations. I just love her! Anywhoo, I thought I'd share this pic with y'all of Boo and his "surround sound"... at least that's what he kept callin it!

He has such a goofy personality! He was crackin me up!

Also, I have a couple movie reviews for ya... This past weekend we watched:

What's Your Number? - I thought it was hilarious!!! Anna Faris is so funny! You should go see it!!!

Hangover Part II - It was funny, but not as good as the first one! I think Brandt liked it.

The Help - OMG I LOVED IT!!! The story line was amazing. The people who played each character were perfectly picked!!!

I'm so proud of the way it turned out! I got the top cross frame on clearance at Kirkland's and I want to stay with that theme for all around the edges. Whatcha think? I've found a few frames that I may give a stab at making this weekend:

How adorbs are these??? My fav is, well I don't know. I love them all. They all seem fairly easy to make. The last one I would probably put a rhinestone cross in the middle of the bow to go along with my cross theme.

Have y'all done any pinterest projects or just creative decorating recently?

Tornadoes

As you my have heard, Alabama was once again struck by several violent tornadoes this morning. I was up until 5 this morning listening to the greatest weatherman ever, James Spann, let us know minute by minute details on where these storms were headed. Fortunately, the city of Tuscaloosa was spared this time. However, it's a devastation, period.

It's hard to see in the first pic (via Facebook) but that's a shot of a tornado coming through Birmingham. The second (vis Facebook) is from Clay, Alabama.

There have been reports of several fatalities. My heart mourns for these people affected by this disaster. My prayers are going out to all those who have struggled with Alabama weather and those who have lost loved ones.

1. Where do you hide the reeeally good snacks?

Well it's just Boo and I so there's really no need to hide the good snacks. However, I'm more of the chocolate lover and he's a sweet/sour lover. So, I guess you could say we have an unspoken rule that if there's one reese's left, he knows it's mine and vice versa, if there's one starburst left, I know it's his!

2. Do u keep your vehicle clean or am I the only one who has things falling out of their van?

I have been diagnosed with OCD. However, I think my diagnosis only applies to the inside of my house. Unfortunately, my vehicle always stays a little crumbly. Empty water bottles here, loose change there, stale fry from week ago... hey I'm just keepin' it real! Maybe I should make it a new rule for my new car... no eating inside! HA...let's see how long that lasts!

3. Have you ever been to Vegas?

Nope, never been. I'm not big into gambling but I would like to go see all the lights!

4. Warm room light blankets or cold room warm snuggly blanket?

Cold room with warm snuggly blankets all the way!!! If I get a little too cozy I like to stick one leg out from under the covers. I feel like it cools my whole body off! Does anyone else do that???

5. What is the worst airplane/flying experience you've ever had?

Well I've only had two airplane experiences. The first, I was just a wittle baby so I remember nothing about it. The second, I believe I was 10. I don't remember it too well but of what I remember, there was nothing tragic or exciting. I did fly by myself so I had an attendant that was literally by my side every second.

Accomplished

I feel so accomplished this morning! I've gotten so much done!

• First, my insurance agency called this AM. She had new notes that the body shop my car was at here locally said my car was totalled. Now all we wait on it for it to get transported to Texas (where the main office is??) and have the adjuster look at it and give me some figures! We've got our eyes on a particular vehicle so I'm crossing my fingers he will hurry!!!

• Secondly, I scheduled a dentist appointment and my yearly. TMI? sorry! I dread these two places so I've been procrastinating for a bit! However, my dentist is pretty easy on the eyes...

(haha, this is not him, but they do kinda resemble!!!)

• Third, my back has been killing me for some time now! Seriously, I think it's my boobays are just too big! Thanks mom! Everytime I go to one of the "urgent care" facilities they treat me seriously like I'm just looking for an excuse for pain pills! So I've set myself up with an actually family care doc and maybe he can either do something for me or refer me to a specialist! Also, my mom is forcing Boo to go to the doc to make sure nothing is wrong with him since he fell asleep driving! That really has been on my mind a lot since the wreck. Hopefully the family doc I go see is everything we're hoping to find and sorry Boo, but you're next!!!

Other than that, this morning my rental car had a suspicious light come on. I am frightened...like SCARED TO DEATH of auto mechanical problems. I am "one of those girls". Boo has taught me how to check the oil... still no clue. I've watched him check the air in tires...yep, no idea. I know how to put more gas in, crank the engine, put a cd in, put in in park, drive, and reverse...that's about it!

So here's me... scared... I pull over, grab the manuel, and find what the crap this sign means. It ended up being my tire pressure. I called Boo, frantic of course, and he explains to me that it could be from the weather or one of the tires may just be barely off anf it would still do that. Sooooo hmmm we shall see...haha

I'm LOVING... that this sweet man was safe after the wreck this weekend! I'm so thankful for my boo!

I'm LOVING...my insurance company! They are so helpful, sweet, and so patient! I guess I'm also loving my grandpa who served in the military and allowed his family to be fortunate enough to have this insurance service!

I'm LOVING...my mom. I see her in myself more and more everyday. And the great thing about that is... I don't mind! We're at that point in both of our lives where we are bestfriends.

I'm LOVING...that we have absolutely NO plans this weekend! We can do all the movie watchin, bed layin, car shoppin, and star watchin we want!!!

I'm LOVING... my dreams for my future!

Hair & Cars

I don't know what's up with this Alabama weather but we have been getting one nice sunny day and then about a week's worth of gloomy rainy, windy, and cold days! It's made me tired in the mornings! I decided to give this coffee energy drink a try today...

Yeah, probably as your suspected, I feel no different. Ha! No energy here! But, it did have a good flavor!

So Brandt and I went on our first car shopping experience ever last night! It went better than I expected. I know it's gonna be hard to find exactly what I want with my frugal-ness. Believe it or not, this is my dream car...

I love Jeeps. I had one several years back but had to sell it because Boo and I were still doin the long distance relationship and gas was just killin' me!

Yep, there's me in my "Prissy".

We went and looked at Jeeps anyways last night and made the decision that one is just not practical for us. We do a lot of traveling with my family in a different state. We normally take two or more vacations out of state per year. Also, a new car loan could be for five years and who knows how large our family may be by then! That was the most important factor to me. We need something realistic and able to adapt to a growing family. So we've settled on...

4Runner!

Wish us luck! They're hard to find. So I'm hoping that's a sign that they're good vehicles!

Oh yeah, funny story! The other night Boo was looking for something to drink and unfortunately soda has not made it in our house lately. Of course, water is not an option for him. haha. So he decides he's gonna make some sweet tea. I guess I've been slacking with having drinks, period. Oops. So I let him go about making it, and being a man I know he most likely will not ask for help. He gets it all set up and I go take a look at his progress...

He had all the tea bags tied together just dangling from the pot literally touching the eye. He ran over to move them before I could snap a picture. I couldn't help but get tickled. I had to teach him that the reason for the preforated (?) edges on the tea bags is so you can remove the bag and just leave the tiny paper square. He is so funny.

Regarding the "hair" in the title... I have medium to long hair, and I'm just not one to really do "up-do's" or different styles with it. I usually part it to the side and straighten it everyday. BOR-RING! So I found this video on youtube and it gave me a little inspiration so I figured I'd share!

Crashed!

Soooo Boo and I had a relaxing weekend. Had a bonfire, cleaned house, just layed around and rested up until yesterday morning...

Brandt went to get us breakfast yesterday (Sunday) morning about 7:30 and on his way home, he made it to our driveway (we have a long dirt road driveway), but unfortunately fell asleep at the wheel and hit a tree. We are so blessed that he is okay. However, my insurance rep over the phone and the tow truck driver says they think my car is totalled. So Boo! The car was a hand-me-down, but it was the first vehicle I've paid for and OWNED the title!!! So...on the bright side, I'll be able to get a new car. But, on the downside I'll probably get another car payment.

For right now, I get this cute rental car.

With my type A personality, I'm a little anxious because the whole insurance process can take a week or so and it's hard to plan what I should do financially when there are so many unanswered questions at this point. I'm trying to do my best at taking this day by day. So please wish me luck! At least Netflix has delivered me something beautiful that will keep me occupied for a few days!

I got season 7 disc 4 and 5! Woo hoo! Boo and I are fanatics! We started late but have not missed an episode since we get them season by season.
