God gave me you for the ups and downs. God gave me you for the days of doubt. And for when I think I've lost my way, there are no words here left to say, it's true, God gave me you.

Chrimmus (Part 1)

The days leading up to Christmas and here lately have been nothing short of FULL! It has been a great ending to 2011. We are currently still in Georgia with my parents. I'm LOVING being home! I miss my babies so much!! And lately, my mom has been my shoulder to lean on so it's gonna be tough leaving... boo! But... I miss my quiet, organized house and my sweet Bandit boo! :)

Before we left, we had Christmas with Brandt's family. I'm loving tunics with leggings lately. They're soooo comfy! I actually found this plaid nightgown at Old Navy!!! HA! It was so comfy!

Here's boo and his Nanny! Can you believe that?? She is the sweetest lady! And not to mention... beautiful which is obviously where his momma gets it from!

We left for my parents on Friday before Christmas. On Christmas Eve my parents needed a break from the babies so Boo and I took them to the Lake Lanier Lights.
Had to get one of the Tide Rollin thru! :)

Spongebob is Landon's fav!

SO TRUE!!!

At the end of the light, they have a carnival, a cute Christmas shop, and a huge fire pit for roasting marshmallows! Landon loved the bumper cars!

Me and my babies! :)

Although the basketball toss wasn't guaranteed to win a prize, Landon begged to give it a shoot.

Sweet Matty Patty takin' her shot!

My precious Bud won himself a laser! He had great aim!

There is a funny story behind this pic and the next one: The little girls behind Landon were, as he put it "buwwies" (bullies)! Poor Landon couldn't get a grip on the rope ladder because the girls kept tugging him down. He finally made it up after turning around to them and yelling "One at a time" about a hundred times.

Brandt and Maddie gave me a mild heart attack on this ride! I'm such a worry wart!

We all enjoyed roasting marshmallows!

Be sure to check back soon for Christmas Day and the rest of my visit with my family! For now, we're all watching "Problem Child 2". A classic! ha! Merry belated Christmas to all my readers!

There so much I want to share but I feel like I should keep some things discreet from the blog. But, I'm between a HUGE BOULDER and a HARD PLACE right now. I'm not the every sunday church-goer however, I am an everyday, all day prayer girl. For the last two plus years there's been something going on in my life, that I DO have control over yet my heart tells me to stay in this not-so-great situation. I always pray for the situation I'm in, that God will help the people involved, that God will rest his hands on the sinners involved, etc.  My prayers more recently have been mainly focused on asking God to take ME by the hand and show ME what paths to take. I've also noticed more recently I was able to face the situation and no longer have that longing feeling that everyone needs my help. I'm finally realizing that I everyone is in control of their own life. And why should I have mountains on my shoulders because someone chooses not to take control of their life? Am i being selfish? I don't think so. I've struggled through it for two years now. Everyday there's a new obstacle. And trust me, there's no exaggeration in that statement. It's affected not only my life and the people involved but also my family and their families. It's not that I'm giving up. I'm letting the situation play out like it should have a LONG time ago.

Bottom line, I love everyone involved in this situation that I am in. I believe there is something great in everyone! It's time for ME.

"Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted. Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. For if anyone thinks he is something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself. But let each one test his own work, and then his reason to boast will be in himself alone and not in his neighbor. For each will have to bear his own load." - Galatians 6:1-5

Rando Friday.

So happy that it's Friday! Christmas is getting soooo close!!! 16 MORE DAYS!!! We're about done with gifts for everyone. Just have a few more to check off the list! I always tell myself I should start shopping in January because with two extended families, we have tons of people to buy for!

I FINALLY got our Christmas cards done last night. As I was creating labels, I realized this is the first Christmas I won't be sending one to the sweetest person I've ever met. My great grandmother, Grandma Buell.
She went to be with Jesus in February. She meant the world to me. I know she's in a better place now but I'll never be able to think of her and not get emotional. It really got me thinking about family in general. So many people get so stressed out during the holiday season or any season really. Whether it be a "hear-say" disagreement, a stubborn family member, financial problems, or anything, family is a huge part of each person's support system. I personally know so many people who don't forgive their family and hold grudges against people that truly care about them. I hate to see families fall about because one person's pride got in the way. Especially during this time of the year. If you have a loved one that you are in a disagreement with, why not try being the bigger person and apologize?

Enough sap for one day! :)

Being the sweet sweet girlfriend that I am, I surprised Boo with date night one night last week!
Chipotle and a movie, "The Next Three Days". We are movie fanatics! We saw the previews for this movie a while back and Boo really wanted to see it! I knew he wouldn't remember me hearing how much he liked it from the preview. And luckily this night I saw it in Movie Stop and had a 50% coupon. You can't beat a $3.99 movie! Aren't I the best girlfriend?? I know, right! Ha

My dear little brother Landon, needs some help! He is my mom's fourth child, the baby. All of her kids up until him have always been the "shy kid" in school. We keep a small group of friends, we follow the rules, & do what the teacher expects from us. Landon, on the other hand, got a wild hair from somewhere! I have mentioned he is a comedian, but he's becoming a PG-13 comedian, if ya get my drift! So, I get this text from Maddie yesterday...
That's all I'm sayin.

I also got a precious text from my sweet mommy yesterday.
She is so talented!!! I'm so fortunate to have gotten this gene from her! She loves purple so she borrow ideas on Pinterest and created her dining room table! Those purple vases... she made those!!! The runner was a piece of scrap fabric she had left over! I love it!

Well.... I've got a load looking me in the face:
I've got to show y'all pics from the Christmas Parade! And this weekend we're headed to a huge bargain store that we've never been too and lots of Christmas parties ahead! Woo hoo! I love the holidays!

Have a great weekend!!!

Real vs Fake?

So i was sitting here at work. Here's the view:

I know. I know. I should be working! I've got a pile beside me that you just can't see! HA! But my Christmas cards have got to go out!!! So I'm working on addressing them! Promise you'll be getting them soon! I know you can't wait!

Several people keep asking me what I want for Christmas. But, because I am an "I want it, I buy it" kind of person, it's a little had coming up with things. So I've come up with two lists. My REAL list. and My FAKE (but really real) list. Ha.

My REAL list:

It's an over-the-door jewelry holder. I currently have all my jewelry organized but in several different locations. I have a TON of it! We have a local $1 jewelry store that I take full advantage of! This item would seriously make some space in our bathroom for other things!

My most favoritest shampoo and conditioner ever!!! It's a little pricey so I always try to snag it when I see it at TJ Maxx. But I'm running low... :)

I've been loving the browns & nude colors lately with a little shimmer in them.

I can remember my girlfriend from high school wearing this scent! I loved it!

I've just started loving the chocolate and aquamarine diamond look! It's gorgeous!!!

Antique frames! I love them! I love the scroll look. I love the bulkiness and the dimension! I can never have enough pictures in my house!

I just stumbled across this looking for antique frames! But i LOVE this! A saying within a frame!

I'm always hoping for a new Lolita to add to my collection :)

Even though I hardly wear make-up, I have been eyeing this for a while! I tried it in Ulta one day and was obsessed! The brown/golds are A-MAZE-ZINGO!!

As always, I don't really NEED any of these things. Spending time with family and friend's is more important to me than any material thing!!! Well maybe Reese's are an exception. HAHA. Also, if you know me, you know a handmade gift is perfect too! I love knowing someone put the time and effort into making something they knew I would enjoy! And now that we have Pinterest...

So, here's my fake list. My fantasy list. My "never gonna get" list! lol

This one is an obvious. This is my dream ring! I love e-v-e-r-y s-i-n-g-l-e d-e-t-a-i-l!!!

Joan Boyce jewelry! I love all of it!!! It's all glitz and glam!

I want me anudder one! :( I miss my old one. RIP Prissy!

Louis Vuitton Speedy.

A "go with everything" watch.

and lastly...
A love like this. This may have gone over the non-fictional bridge too much. SO...
I could settle for my own Jackson, from Steel Magnolias (my fav)!!!

Happy Hump Day Ladies & Gents!
